There may be days where I don’t feel that I know a whole lot, but I do know that it’s time for random thoughts so let’s get going…
-
I’ve decided to make it my life’s work to kill every groundhog I come across. Winter or spring please make up your mind.
-
Note to self…for every door that closes another opens, and not all open doors lead down a path you are familiar with. Go with it and see what happens, but be sure to leave a trail of bread crumbs.
-
Valentine’s Day. Still and overrated useless holiday.
-
Any and all fart jokes, still very funny no matter how old I get.
-
The older you get the more you second think doing any kind of fart joke where you act out the joke.
-
Try not to get whiplash….question for you. Are you living the life God expects of you? If the answer is “no” what is holding you back?
-
Next week is National FFA week. What do you suppose I’ll write about in next week’s column?
-
Dexter lost a good one this week. Earl Clayton was the kind of guy who had more friends that he ever imagined and always left you laughing or shaking your head, but usually both.
-
Genealogy can be a fun and frustrating hobby. This past week I discovered a distant relative which helped fill in a huge blank in the family tree, but unfortunately has left more questions than answers now.
-
Do you ever wonder on your way to and from work if maybe every snow plow is set a foot above the pavement?
-
If you happen to feel the need to be out and about on Dexfield Road north of Dexter, just a friendly reminder that the speed limit is posted at 45 mph and that it is also marked as a work zone. At the rate that the county is doing business near my house I figure they will pay for the road in about another three weeks.

Finally this week, I wonder what would happen if we all went to church some Sunday morning without any notice. I mean all of us, just up and go to church. Can you imagine the look on the faces of each and every pastor? Besides we could take bets on which church will still be standing after you enter it…and you know who you are.
See you next week…Remember, we’re all in this together.
