Spring is here which means it is once again time to drag the wooden crate into the kitchen and take the kids to pick up baby chicks and duckies. As you know my track record with raising both has been less than stellar although poor Ethyl almost made it through the entire winter before she disappeared and my back step was covered in guilty looking overly fed cats.
If my previous track record was any indication on my fitness as a chicken farmer one might suggest I try iguanas or maybe even turtles, however I shall not be deterred by a couple of bad luck seas......
,,,..Narrator's note- At this point young Mr. Weesner who worked an abundance of hours the last two weeks fell asleep in his lazy boy, laptop resting on his belly and the television blaring to Big Bang Theory reruns on TBS. We attempted to wake him but soon found the snoring somewhat disturbing so we covered him with a blanket and quietly hit the send button before leaving the room. Hopefully next week he will be in better shape and as he always says...Remember...we're all in this together.
